Our Story Begins In The South

With the blessings of the honourable M.G. Ramachandran, MGR’s master chef Mr. Anjappar established the first-ever Chettinad restaurant in 1964.

Anjappar has built a global reputation for its authentic South Indian cuisine, with a particular focus on traditional Chettinad-style dishes. In addition to its signature Chettinad offerings, some locations also serve Sri Lankan, Oriental, and Middle Eastern dishes, catering to a diverse array of culinary preferences.
